Diverse Supplier

Destrier, Inc., is a certified Woman-Owned Business (WBE) and Small Business (SB) entity licensed in various states. The company was founded by Carrie Taylor, who spent the majority of her career closing and demolishing contaminated industrial sites across the globe for some of the world’s most recognized companies.  Her years of successful practice at some of the world’s most prestigious engineering firms affords clients the benefits of working with a large firm in a small, strategic boutique setting.  Destrier’s presence is primarily focused on North America, but serves clients with facilities all over the world.

Our History

Our team started in the 1980’s closing a Fortune 500 Top 10 facility under stringent new environmental regulations.  After decades working for the world’s most prestigious global engineering firms, Destrier, Inc. was born to provide superior services using skills and systems developed over years of successful practice.  Our boutique approach provides clients access to senior-level force multipliers that allow clients to plan, implement and manage asset retirement and environmental projects quickly and cost-effectively.  Our structure eliminates the cumbersome hierarchy of traditional firms and provides clients immediate access to key decision makers at every turn.

Our Safety Philosophy

Destrier’s safety philosophy centers on doing safe, not just being safe. Paperwork doesn’t make people safe – people make people safe.  All the paperwork, policies and procedures in the world are of little value if the actions defined within them are not taken.  The work we do is inherently dangerous, and there is no room for complacency or compromise.  We therefore design, implement and improve our safety programs continuously so everyone goes home safely at the end of each and every day.

Destrier is a member contractor in good standing with both ISN and Avetta, having an “A” rated safety program that has been independently reviewed and verified.
